The Community Childcare Foundation actively supports families who need assistance at home and in their lives. Especially those who are single parents or parents of disabled children who need additional help and facilities to improve the quality of their lives.
Some of the children in the village we visited were orphans. We found them staying at home without going to school. Once we asked them about the matter, we heard that the problem was school uniforms so they had no incentive to get up and attend.

The CCF volunteers offered their support and provided them with school uniforms so that they could go to school.
This was a woman who was a single mother looking after her children. She was struggling since her husband left her with no support in place.
When we visited her during our program, 'Home visit', we learned how miserable she was and could see how much she needed help. Through some friends we supported her and made the family's life more comfortable and enjoyable.
CCF is committed to supporting families in remote areas of the district. When we visited the Gongali village we met a boy who was quadriplegic.
The child above, pictured alone on his bed at home, never left the room and was often left alone by his family.
We found him just sleeping in the house without light and his peer group were playing outside without him.
CCF provided him a wheelchair so that he could get outside in the sunshine and go with his family when they left the house.
